I started professional badminton training at 12. My days during peak training seasons often began at 4:00 AM, with multiple hours of practice balanced alongside academics. I represented my state in national-level tournaments and had the opportunity to train in high-performance environments in Singapore and at the Ban Thong Yod Academy in Bangkok.
Training internationally and competing on different courts taught me technical precision, mental focus, and how to perform under pressure, lessons that extend far beyond sports.
A repetitive shoulder injury eventually made it difficult to continue pursuing badminton as a full-time career. Letting go of that path was tough, but it taught me resilience, that sometimes growth means adapting and finding new ways to channel effort and passion.
